but it’s also about the blogger you’ve never heard of. it’s about the one on your DNI. this is about the mean one. the one you saw that callout post about. this is about the one who had maybe a few dozen followers at most. this is about the one who’s not white. this is about the “problematic” one. this is about the blogger who’s annoying, the one who complains all the time. this is about the one you have blocked. the one you reported.
staff only enforces the rules when they want to, on who they want to. i’ve had so many mutuals whose blogs were deleted just in the last couple months and all but two were transfems. it doesn’t matter who “broke TOS” or not (and clearly it doesn’t to staff, either) — no one deserves to get cut off from their community. stop fucking nuking my mutuals.

this is reece, previously soft-caramel. i’m a brown transmasc fagdyke butch thing. soft-caramel was terminated around 5-6 AM pacific time on june 13th, 2024, according to my mutual. this post was originally posted the evening of june 11th, 2024. they got me in under 48 hours. they did not send me any explanation as to why i’d been terminated.
i’m not transfem. i’ve been seeing all my lovely mutuals get nuked for being transfem or calling out staff/users on their transmisogyny and it’s my turn to be the tenth, i guess. it’s ramped up since the month started, too. like. 10 is such an under-estimate, i’ve seen more blogs than that get terminated in the last week.
please listen to transfems when they talk about transmisogyny, amplify their voices, and speak out yourself, especially if you’re tme. and remember that any marginalisation and discrimination one experiences gets worse the more marginalised groups someone is a part of.

As funny as this is, it’s absolutely disgusting that one person, one single human being, can lose the GDP of a reasonably productive country (according to 2 minutes of googling, Greece sits just outside the top 50 in terms of GDP) and still be one of the two or three richest people in the world, with a 12-digit net worth.

When Rian Johnson calls out fake Elon Musk in his fun detective movie, this is not an attempt at “self-deprecating humor”. Rian Johnson is “I own nice houses”-rich, he is not “I control nations, wars, economies, and the livelihoods of millions”-rich like Elon Musk is.
Rian Johnson is closer in his wealth to you than he is to Elon Musk, by far.
I am all for holding rich people accountable, I support calling out the Hollywood industry. But we *need* to learn to tell billionaires and millionaires apart, or our criticism of the political system will be fraught.

To everyone who is willing to listen: nowhere in this post did I absolve millionaires. Nowhere in this post did I say that wealth inequality is a good thing. What I did say was, essentially: It’s billionaires who make the world run like it does, and they will gladly sacrifice millionaires in order to distract us.
We can abolish billionaires AND tax multi-millionaires out of their millions, those two things can and should co-exist.
What I believe is: If all millionaires disappeared tomorrow, nothing would change. The billionaires would simply create new millionaires if it served their agenda.
If all billionaires disappeared tomorrow, it would change the trajectory of the world. Imagine Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos all disappearing without anybody being able to step into their place. Space X? Cancelled. Facebook/Meta and all the connected surveillance tech? Gone. Amazon workers no longer in the chokehold of a monopolist? Unions arise.
If Rian Johnson disappeared tomorrow? It’s a couple obituaries and that’s it. That’s the difference.
